Long Money Lending is a private lending company — not a bank and not a government agency. We started Long Money to give people money that gives them time — a short-term bridge to payday, a longer loan for something bigger, help with groceries until month-end, or capital to grow a small business.

Our registration as a credit provider with the National Credit Regulator (NCRCP number) is pending approval. We will only grant loans once that registration is approved.

Your personal details and documents are stored securely. Photos of your ID or passport are kept in private storage that only you and authorised Long Money staff can open, and every staff action is protected by sign-in.

We follow South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) and never sell your information. Read our Privacy Policy.

Use our loan calculator to see an estimated monthly repayment before you apply. If your loan is approved, you'll get a quote that shows the full cost — interest, fees and total repayable — and nothing is paid out or deducted until you accept it.

As the National Credit Act requires, we check every application for affordability and only lend what you can comfortably repay. If you're struggling, talk to us early — we'd rather help you find a solution. If you're over-indebted, we may suggest a registered debt counsellor.

There's no app to download. Our website works in your phone's browser — apply, take a photo of your ID with your camera, and follow your application under My applications.
